I typically speak with people on the phone prior to booking an initial session to ensure that we are a good fit in terms of my areas of expertise and their requirements. This initial phone consultation is free of charge.

People generally see me weekly to begin with although this varies depending upon the needs of the individual.

Counseling Fees

Fees are $197.00 per 50 minute session. These are paid at the beginning of each session by cheque or cash at which time I will give you a receipt for income tax or insurance purposes.

While MSP does not cover the fees of a counsellor, some extended benefit plans may cover a portion of such fees.

Costs incurred for psychotherapy may be claimed as a medical expense on income tax.

Cancelling an Appointment

Forty-eight hours notice is required to cancel appointments.  Otherwise, the full session fee will be charged.

Please note: I am relocating my counselling practice from the location on West Broadway. I continue to welcome new clients and see my existing patients through FaceTime or Skype until my new office space is available.
